Every statue, piece of artwork or element that is used during the Holy Mass has a purpose. That includes the flowers that adorn the altar and the decorations used throughout the different liturgical seasons.
Flowers are a symbol of JOY and serve the purpose of reminding us of God's creation and the beauty of his handiwork. Flowers also remind us of the spiritual life and the virtues we should acquire within our hearts.
Janet Dunham designs the seasonal flowers that enhance our experience at Mass on a daily basis. In addition to selecting, ordering and arranging the flowers she tends to them weekly to help maintain their beauty for as long as possible.
